With over 13 million views at the time of this posting, everyone has probably seen this by now.Β But I enjoy it enough that I’m going to share it anyway.
Besides, the subject matter has thematic relevance to this blog π
I hope someone offers them a recording contract because I would totally buy their music.

So what’s on YouTube for you these days?Β And did you remember to pick up milk at the store?
I haven’t seen this before, and I do watch the show from time to time. She’s something else! There is a place for her in music if she keeps this up, but she may not have any vocal cords left by the time she’s a teenager. Hopefully, the parents will be mindful of that… but I love Metallica and I’m all about girl rockers so maybe she can lead the way into some serious female metal one day… π
Well, I know of at least a couple of bands that play really aggressive music with a growly guy vocalist, then add a female singer with a beautiful, almost operatic voice. Pretty cool stuff π
Hmmmm…. Eluveitie maybe? I still love A Rose for Epona….
Eluveitie works, but I was actually thinking of a band called Epica in particular…
Well geez, thanks for holding out on me… you’re my go-to-guy for this kind of music and I’m only now hearing about this one? π seriously, thanks for sharing. I really do like this.
I actually only have one of their albums, but I’ve been meaning to get some more of their music. Their female singer is absolutely amazing.
I’m sorry, but that can’t be good for her chords. Ouch! Cool, but OUCH!
Yeah, from what I understand, harsh vocals need to be done a certain way to protect against getting hurt, so I’m really hoping she’s had instruction in that regard.
What a cutie! Great sister and brother duo. Talented.
She’s such an adorable little girl. I love how contrasty that makes her when she sings π
OMG! That was so unexpected but AWESOME!
She completely took me by surprise when I first saw it. I was like, “Wait, did that just happen?” and had to watch her sing again before the video even finished π
Wow. Wow. And Wow. Not my kind of music, but I can appreciate it nonetheless. What courage it must have taken for them to get up on stage and perform their own music. Kudos to them for doing so!
Yeah, they look way more relaxed than I would have been. Really impressive π
Wow. Those kids have CONFIDENCE! I do worry about the little girl’s vocal chords so I hope she gets whatever training she needs to protect herself. Pretty amazing. The combination of that voice and those clothes.
I can’t decide which is my favorite thing about the video–the contrast of the adorable outfit with the screaming about zombies, or the mischievous look the kids exchange around the 1:20 mark just before they start. It’s almost like they knew they were going to totally take people by surprise.
Oh my goodness that is hilarious. Do share again if you here Lullaby crash. They are gonna be huge!
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Lullaby Crash. I want to hear more of their stuff π
How could anyone say no to such a sweetheart? The polka dot skirt was the perfect choice for her, and that mischievous smile was the best. Love it! With a stage presence like that she and her brother are going to go far!
And as far as YouTube, I can spend hours there watching my favorite artists (I’m currently into Anathema, Hybrid and a bit of Monster Magnet for my latest WIP) but I try to limit that, or I’d never get any writing done!
Monster Magnet has done some pretty awesome stuff–Dopes to Infinity is an incredible album. I don’t think I’ve heard any Anathema or Hybrid, though. I’ll have to check them out sometime. I’m always looking for new stuff to keep the creative well full π
bahaha – that was something else. Definitely the kind of thing one keeps watching due to some morbid fascination. My voice hurts just watching it, though. I also want to hear Lullaby Crash.
And, yes, actually, I did pick up some milk on my way home from the island this evening. Thanks for asking. π
You’re very welcome. I wouldn’t want anyone to forget π
That was awesome! I love the way Howard and Heidi handled them. So nice and supportive, even though they were completely thrown! I would be curious to see what else they’ve got in store for Vegas.
My favorite part is where Howard says, “I can’t wait to hear your sweet music,” and the kids give each other a knowing look. Then all the zombie stuff comes out π
I hadn’t seen this. That’s great! Thanks for sharing. π
My pleasure π
That was awesome. Lemmy’s got nothing on her.
Yeah, she’s got the whole adorable thing going on, which is a nice contrast to her shouty zombie song π
